Stephen Amell is Going To Tackle The American Ninja Warrior Course
The first-ever celebrity edition of the series will air on Thursday, May 25 at 8/7c on NBC as part of the network’s Red Nose Day programming.
Stephen Amell, the well-trained, well-sculpted star of the CW superhero series, is among the nine famous faces who will fearless the American Ninja Warrior course in the series’ first-ever celebrity edition, airing Thursday, May 25 at 8/7c as part of NBC’s annual Red Nose Day programming.
Arrow star Stephen Amell is known for taking his superhero skills into the real world, and his next adventure will be running American Ninja Warrior’s notorious obstacle course.
American Ninja Warrior is about to put several celebrities to the test with its punishing and hard obstacle course. The “Australian Ninja Warrior” is expected to premiere this year. Kacy Catanzaro will partner with Amell, Daniel Gil with Hough, Flip Rodriguez with Christensen, Natalie Duran with Suvari, Jessie Graff with Glaser, Meagan Martin with Dye, Grant McCartney with Morales, Kevin Bull with Eaton and Drew Dreschel with Swisher.
But the one to watch has to be Amell, who seems like the ideal person to take on the Celebrity Ninja Warrior challenge. The rest of the celebrity line-up includes Parenthood’s Erika Christensen, Today co-host Natalie Morales, Olympic decathlete Ashton Eaton, New York Yankees player Nick Swisher, actress Mena Suvari and comedians Nikki Glaser and Jeff Dye. Let’s see if Arrow shows up to Ninja Warrior.
Set your calendars, because #StephenAmell will be competing on American Ninja Warrior on May 25, 2017. He’ll be in more comfortable form on the Ninja Warrior obstacle course, since its elements resemble his onscreen crime-fighting exploits and training, notably the core-killing bar ascension of the Salmon Ladder. No matter what the results are, you gotta love Amell for putting his money where his mouth is.
