Sprint Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge Receiving Nougat Update

Click “Repair All” to fix all issues. The Nougat update in store for Galaxy Note 5 users is otherwise the same as the one that Galaxy S6 Edge+ owners are now getting, with neither phone seemingly getting any Verizon-specific under the hood tweaks.

Nougat is continuing its rollout to existing devices this week, as several Samsung phones in the USA are receiving their updates to the latest major Android release. Sources have discovered that the latest version of the updates to the Samsung Health and Samsung Game Tuner apps have turned up at the Android software rehosting website ApkMirror.

Just a day after AT&T began rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat to the Samsung Galaxy Note5 and S6 edge+, Verizon Wireless is following suit with its own set of upgrades for its variants of the two devices.

Given that Google has already released the Android 7.1.2 update to its Pixel and Nexus handsets, it seems to be a given that Samsung will not want to stay behind for long. You need to back up your files in case they get erased in the update. Multi tasking is going to be enhanced with the addition of the multi-window mode which will allow users to run two apps at the same time. Along with that, there’s an improved keyboard with better language predictions. Bixby is also expected to arrive for other Galaxy devices like Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

We should mention that Galaxy Note 5 will receive some special features which will increase S Pen’s performance. You now have an AIR command that will let you create GIFS easily.
