Xiaomi Mi 6 to be available in 11 colors
Chinese smartphone giant Xiaomi on Wednesday unveiled its flagship smartphone Mi 6 at a launch event in Beijing.
Under the hood of the splash-resistant Xiaomi Mi6 you’ll find Qualcomm’s 10nm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with an Adreno 540 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB built-in storage.
Talking about the display of Xiaomi Mi 6, so this smartphone will come with 5.15 inch full HD display with 1080p resolution. Apart from that, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset is confirmed to house inside the Mi 6. Xiaomi also announced a Silver Edition of the Mi 6 which sports four-sided 3D curves coupled with an ultra reflective mirror finish.

According to Gadgets 360, the rumored Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus bearing model number MDE40 has been spotted (via Playfuldroid) on a Chinese certification site. The 2x optical zoom makes sure photos of distant subjects remain clear, while 10x digital zoom is also supported. Though Xiaomi introduced its Surge S1 processor back in February and is the power behind Mi5c which debuted two months ago, it is different when it comes to releasing a flagship smartphone, for now. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with heretofore MIUI on top. The smartphone will be available from April 28 in China on Mi.com for purchase through online merchants. The front camera is a 8 megapixel which is also capable of recording 4K videos. The phone will have a 3200 mAh non-removable battery. This phone has under-glass front fingerprint sensor and comes with USB Type-C charging. The 64 GB model costs 2,499 yuan ($363), the 128 GB variant costs 2,899 yuan ($421), while the special model with a ceramic back panel goes up to 2,999 yuan ($436).
