OnePlus 5 leaked images show dual-camera feature

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei has been rampant on Twitter and full of trolls, but behind his trolls, there’s a cryptic message – that OnePlus 5 is in the works.

OnePlus is known to deliver insane powerful smartphones for significantly lower prices than the competition.

Hold on to your butts because the mother of all leaks for the OnePlus 5, one of the most anticipated phones of the year, has hit the interwebs. Now we now know the entire specs sheet of the handset, and its Geekbench scores suggest it will be even more powerful than Samsung’s flagship device, the Galaxy S8.

The first benchmark results have been spotted and they seem to indicate that the OnePlus 5 is going to be faster than Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S8. It might not have the infinity display of the Galaxy S8, but it sure is a powerful handset and it will most likely cost a lot less than Samsung’s latest smartphones.

Android 7.1 Nougat will come pre-installed on the OnePlus, and the company’s OxygenOS will ship on top of Google’s operating system. However, it doesn’t mean their performance will be the same.

A previous leak on the specifications of the OnePlus 5 claims that the smartphone will have 6 GB of RAM, not 8 GB of RAM as speculated, along with a 3,600 mAh battery and 128 GB of internal storage. But, these renders do have one thing in common: a rear dual-camera setup. Some people believe it will, others think that it will keep its single camera on the back. The rear-facing camera will reportedly feature a whopping 23 megapixels and the front may sport a 16-megapixel shooter. But not in the name of the case, and filling – it will be a very powerful Chinese smartphone, able to fight even with Samsung S8, but worth nearly half the price. There is still no official launching date for the OnePlus 5, but according to the experts, it might release this summer. When the 3T was launched as the successor to the original model, the major changes it came in with were the processor version, battery capacity, and camera quality. The sheet states the price of the OnePlus 5 will start at $450, which is significantly cheaper than the $650 price tag of the Galaxy S8.
