“My deal on the show was two years only and it’s up”, Safran told The Hollywood Reporter. This made the decision to renew a lot easier for ABC. “Alex Parrish will be back soon”, Priyanka tweeted on Tuesday. But this time however, it will just have 13 episodes as opposed to 22 and 21 episodes in season 1 and 2. “I’m leaving the show in a good place and capable hands”.

Bollywood’s favourite and worldwide star Priyanka Chopra will be seen on the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen – an American talk show. However, given that the show actually broke records for ABC and raked in great ratings in its first season, ABC has chose to give “Quantico” another chance. Donning a blue and white bikini, Chopra became the center of attention, competing for the sexiest bod on the beach along with the Baywatch heroes. The reason, sources close to her say, is that Priyanka wants to focus equally on her Bollywood career. First, the actress had a grand premiere of her upcoming Hollywood debut film Baywatch in Miami.

Editor’s note: This story was changed to reflect that production of Quantico will remain in NY. Captioning the photo, Chopra comments on her appreciation for receiving so much love from fans. Watch me live on @watchwhathappenslive Tonight! Our own desi girl, Priyanka Chopra, seems to be turning heads across the world, and the most recent casualty of her charms seems to be the original Baywatch star, David Hasselhoff.

Paramount Pictures releases Baywatch in North American theaters next Thursday, May 25, ahead of the long Memorial Day holiday weekend.
