Baahubali 2 vs Dangal collections: Race at last coming to an end!
Aamir Khan’s wrestling drama has grossed over Rs. 1100 crore in China and still counting. China has a special quota for foreign films where the number of Indian films is too small. Its fifth-weekend collection is bigger than the lifetime collection of Baahubali: The Beginning, which grossed $7.82 million in the country.
It’s been exactly one month since Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, directed by Nitish Tiwari and co-starring Sakshi Tanwar, Zaira Waseem, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh, released in China. The film is not going to slow down now, the film is running successfully in the theaters of China. Khan’s movie shattered many records as it has registered total earnings of Rs 1,089 crore at the Chinese box office, koimoi.com reported. As Dangal is doing great at the China box office the film’s license has extended for 1 month due to the great performance, the film has totally rocked the China box office.
Baahubali 2 holds many firsts when it comes to records. In fact, it has managed to make so much money in its entire run that it beat yet another Hollywood film in China to become the first film to earn more than $1.5 million for 31 days in a row.
Although Dangal has surpassed Baahubali 2’s worldwide gross, the latter still has a chance to beat the former and take the top seat.
