FS1’s Mike Hill Rips Colleague Jason Whitlock After Controversial LeBron James Comments

“That is a lie”, Whitlock said of James’ comment on being black in America is still tough if you’re rich and famous.

Whitlock said on Fox Sports 1’s “The Herd” that he believes James is not a victim of “real racism” because the National Basketball Association star is rich.

Meanwhile, Whitlock was also sparring with some other Twitter users who were taking issue with his comments. LeBron’s $20 million Brentwood home gets vandalized, and I see two or three police cars trying to get to the bottom of it. LeBron’s staff, I’m sure, cleaned up the spray paint within hours.

Whitlock described the racist vandalism as little more than “a disrespectful inconvenience” for James, who he said had “fallen into the far-left trap of there’s value in embracing your victimhood”. “Over the years, Whitlock has taken several unpredictable and often unpopular positions, especially when racial issues intersect with sports”, the New York Times detailed in September 2010.

Emmett Till was an African-America teenager in MS who was murdered in 1955 by two men who were subsequently acquitted of the crime by an all-white jury.

“Racism will always be a part of the world, a part of America”. LeBron James, whether he likes it or not, or whether people close to him are telling him or not, he has removed himself from the damages and the ravages of real racism. Your black skin is different from the poor people’s black skin.

James told reporters that the n-word had been spray-painted on a gate outside of his Los Angeles home, and noted that it’s “being black in America is tough”.

Whitlock, for his part, endured much criticism on Thursday after taking a hard stance against James and his allegations of racism and what it means to be black in America.

During an appearance on The Herd today, Whitlock downplayed James’ statement, citing his personal wealth.

– @ItsMikeHill (@ItsMikeHill) June 1, 2017For him to even suggest that because LeBron is rich shields him from racism is preposterous & just plain dumb.

Hill concluded, “Racism, against blacks, Jews, Asians, whites etc has no tax bracket or cares about your popularity”. “Jason Whitlock you just a n– on ESPN”.
